All news- Citizenship Office Publishes Ceremony Schedule to November 2026
Six citizenship ceremonies will be held between Saturday 19 September and Saturday 14 November 2026 at five sites of the Network, offering 540 places in all. Invitations are issued seven days before each ceremony.
- Register of Citizens Opens for Certified Extracts
The Register of Citizens is open from today. Citizens may request a certified extract of their own entry, and may apply to correct a particular that is wrongly recorded.
- Citizenship Office Publishes First Statistical Release
The Office's first statistical release records 8,740 citizens on the Register at establishment, 2,486 applications received during the transition period and 1,932 applications determined.
About the Office
The Citizenship Office of the Velocity Interoperability Network determines applications for citizenship of the Velocity Interoperability Network, maintains the Register of Citizens and holds the ceremonies at which new citizens make the affirmation.
It publishes the requirements for each route to citizenship, issues certificates of citizenship and certified extracts of the Register, and reports quarterly on the applications it receives and determines.
